The school was very welcoming with lots of social events and was located in a nice area near Tenjin and Ohori Park. I was in a private class which allowed for lots of customisation and we used the 中級学ぼう 56 textbook, you could choose what to focus on and had a lot of freedom in the lessons. It was relaxed and personally I had no interest in the JLPT so we focused on areas I wanted to improve on and continued with the textbook. I also took the translation course which would be useful if you want to a get a rough overview of Japanese <–> English translation and the industry surrounding it, as well as lessons about aspects of the language.
Overall, I would recommend the school and Fukuoka as it is a lovely city and a great base for seeing Kyushu.
