I had done lots of research on Japanese language schools before selecting Wahaha and I have no regrets whatsoever. I was looking for skilled teachers, a small classroom size, and other students who were serious about language learning: Wahaha met all of these requirements and more. They helped arrange accomodation, worked flexibly around my schedule to arrange private lessons, and even bought me a surprise birthday cake. All the staff and teachers are friendly, and I think its an amazing value.
I also really liked that on top of the normal Japanese lessons I took, I was able to also take a two week business Japanese class. The teachers had professional experience in various fields in Japan, from being an events MC to working for an international brokerage firm; this type of hands-on experience that the teachers had really added extra depth and value to the lessons. Also, while not specific to Wahaha, by going to school here you get a chance to live in Fukuoka which is an amazing city with plenty of opportunities to use your Japanese in daily life. 5/5 stars!
