I’ve attended Wahaha 4 times over the past several years from 2 weeks to 5 week sessions. The instructors are talented, skillful and are quite capable of supporting individual learning goals. The school attracts students from all over the world. This adds to a rich cultural learning experience. I couldn’t speak French and my fellow student couldn’t speak English, but we chatted in Japanese. If you’re interested in passing the JLPT, working or attending a Japanese University, interested in translation or simply want to have everyday conversational skills, they have a program. The extra-curricular activities are both fun and educational. The Origami lessons were one of my favorites, because the instruction is provided in Japanese, augmented with English/or your native language (depending) as need be, they’re a great way to practice the skills acquired in class. The small size of the school makes it possible to develop lasting friendships with the entire staff. I love the school and will return again in the future.
